BroadRiver’s Atlanta data center 3 (DC3) is located at 1120 Curran St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. The data center is hurricane rated structure with concrete block walls, brick outlay, and steel frame. The data center provides amenities like customer lounge, conference center, full service kitchen, bathrooms with showers, exercise facility, customer office cubicles with phone/fax and high speed Wi Fi Internet access. The facility has warehouse with loading dock for secure equipment delivery and storage. The data center provides a reliable and redundant infrastructure, and categorized as a Tier III data center facility.
The data center provides flexible colocation options in 1/4, half and full cabinet, and customized cage space. The data center provides 25,000 square feet of square feet of raised floor environment with 200 fully enclosed cabinets. The data center is a certified SSAE 16 SOC I type II facility and meets the compliance requirements for PCI standards. The facility also provides server staging and troubleshooting workroom. The data center provides excellent security measures with razor wire fence, IP video surveillance with 90 days archiving of footage, motion detectors, glass break sensors, and an authenticated key card access control system and biometric hand scanner entry. The data center uses waterless FM 200 fire suppression system, and VESDA aspirating smoke detectors for an early detection.
Atlanta data center 3 (DC3) is a reliable and fault tolerant N+1 power infrastructure, and provides 480V 3 phase 2,000 Amps service on the dedicated transformer. The entire critical is protected by redundant 375 kVA 240V Liebert and MGE N+1 UPS system on the immediate loss of utility power that is backup by the standby 500 kVA and 750 kVA backup diesel generators with 250 gallons internal fuel storage tank and 3,500 gallons external fuel storage tank. The facility has dual 800 Amps 48V DC battery and rectifier plants for DC power. The cooling and humidity in the data center is automated by nine 30 tons Liebert climate control system in N+1 redundant configuration in alternating hot aisle and cold aisle rack configurations with heat exhaust. Additionally, the data center roof is insulated membrane with vapor moisture barriers to absorb the heat.
BroadRiver’s 1120 Curran St. NW data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple 1 Gbps upstream carriers and service providers such as Savvis, Global Crossing, XO, Level 3, and Cogent.
