SunGard Atlanta data center (ATL-1055) is located at 1055 Spring Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30309. The data center provides break room with soft drinks, coffee, and snack available. The facility has also got 2 tons equipment elevator from external dock. The data center offers colocation and managed hosting, enterprise cloud services, remote managed IT services, messaging and collaboration, and network and managed security services.

SunGard colocation services includes tailored colocation data center space including cabinets with 42U capacity, or secure cages offering more space and added security for compliance. The data center provides 35,300 square feet of total space, including 19,500 square feet of 24 inches raised floor space. The data center adheres to SAS 70 Type II along with PCI DSS standards. The data center provides regular, ISO-controlled, preventive maintenance on all mission-critical systems. Multiple physical layers of security with controlled security procedures is maintained in the data center with CCTV surveillance system on every aisle and minimum 30 days DVR backup, exterior security cameras, integrated card reader security system, and biometric three factor entry authentication system. The data center also utilizes the third party security services. The data center uses Fike Cheetah fire control system and annunciator, and pre action dry pipe sprinkler fire suppression system with VESDA LaserPLUS early smoke detection apparatus for any fire spark.

Atlanta data center provides a very reliable power infrastructure, and offers 100% SLA on power. The immediate power failure is protected by N+1 Powerware 9315 1500 kVA UPS 4-module bank, N+1 Powerware 9395 750 kVA UPS 4-module bank, and N+1 Powerware 9390 80 kVA UPS 2-module bank. The standby power is provided by 2,000 kW Cummins Synergy diesel generator with 6,000 gallon fuel tank, and 2,000 kW Caterpillar diesel generator with 4,000 gallon fuel tank. The data center has 24 x 7 fuel refill contracts with multiple vendors. The data center uses Zenith 2000A ATS, ASCO 7000 Series 2000A ATS, and ASCO 7000 Series 3000A Automatic Transfer Isolation Bypass Switch. The data center provides standard 120V 20A standard AC power with 208V available on request, and 48V DC power. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by 18 x CRAC units with leak detection, and 3 x 150 tons chilled water towers in an N+1 redundant configuration. The facility uses DataTrax monitoring system.

The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier One backbones via carrier-diverse local loops. The data center provides dual Ethernet drops to every customer’s equipment, Juniper powered Internet mesh platform, three local loop providers over SONET, two Juniper border routers, three hubbed DS-3s for PTP, frame relay connections and Juniper distribution switches. 24 x 7 x 365 onsite NOC provides the support and helpdesk services to its customers.
