BroadRiver’s Atlanta data center 1 (DC1) is located at 1000 Hemphill Ave. NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. The data center provides a reliable and redundant infrastructure, and categorized as a Tier I data center facility.
The data center provides flexible colocation options in 1/4, half and full cabinet, and customized cage space. The data center provides 1,100 square feet of total space that include 1,000 square feet of raised floor environment with 30 fully enclosed cabinets. The data center is a certified SSAE 16 SOC I type II facility and meets the compliance requirements for PCI standards. The facility also provides server staging and troubleshooting area with KVM console server. The data center provides excellent security measures with IP video surveillance, motion detectors, glass break sensors, escort only 24x7x365 access, and an authenticated biometric hand scanner entry. The data center uses waterless FM 200 fire suppression system, and VESDA aspirating smoke detectors for an early detection.
Atlanta data center 1 (DC1) is a reliable and fault tolerant N+1 power infrastructure, and provides 240V 3 phase 800 Amps service. The entire critical is protected by 160 kVA 240V N+1 UPS system on the immediate loss of utility power that is backup by the standby 350 kVA diesel generator with 250 gallons of fuel storage tank. The cooling and humidity in the data center is automated by three 8 tons environmental cooling units in N+1 redundant configuration from Air Technology System.
BroadRiver’s 1000 Hemphill Ave. NW data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple 1 Gbps upstream carriers and service providers such as Savvis, Global Crossing, XO, Level 3, and Cogent. The data center has diverse fiber entry, redundant transport connectivity via OC-48 SONET ring, and fully redundant Cisco core network utilizing BGP4 multi-home routing. The 24x7x365 NOC provides helpdesk and support services, and remote hands services.
