INAP’s Atlanta data center (ACS003) is located at 1033 Jefferson St NW, Suite 103, Atlanta, GA 30318. The data center is at 15 miles from Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta international airport. The data center is a concrete and brick structure with reinforced steel construction and dual reinforced roof. The facility has 85 MPH wind rating, seismic zone 1 construction, and secured receiving area designated for customer equipment. INAP has aligned with Quality Technology Services to provide secure and well equipped data center services at this location.
The data center offers a number of colocation options, including cabinets in half and full sizes, custom caged space, and private suites. The data center provides 900,000 square feet of total space, including 200,000 square feet of colocation space. Raised floor is designed for the structural capacity of 250 lbs. per square feet. The data center provides the state of the art security measures, including 24x7x365 security guards onsite, CCTV monitoring with archiving of data, and facility issued photo IDs. The entrance to the data center floor is authenticated through the use of card key and biometric scan, with extra security is provided through alarmed mantrap entry. The facility uses multi zone, double interlocked, pre action dry pipe fire suppression system with VESDA control for the life safety.
Atlanta (ACS003) data center is a reliable and fault tolerant N+1 power infrastructure with concurrently maintainable power system. 80 MW of utility power is served to data center by three diverse substations and two electrical grids by Georgia power. The data center has onsite power substation and 3 x 40 MW power transformers. The entire critical infrastructure is protected by static UPS system on power failure. The secondary power is provided by 19 x 2 MW diesel generators onsite with fuel storage for 2 days runtime onsite and extended fuel contracts. The data center provides 120V and 208V AC power circuits with individual circuit load monitoring to ensure the best power management. All power cabling below floors is installed in either conduit or seal tight flexible conduit with approved connectors to all equipment. The cooling and humidity in the data center is maintained by over 300 x 30 tons Liebert units. The data center has under floor leak detection system.
