Digital Fortress’ South Seattle Data Center also houses their Network Operations Center, and is 42,000 ft colocation facility located on Seattle’s Intergate West Campus, part of the largest internet campus in North America. The data center is at 12101 Tukwila International Blvd. Suite 410, Seattle WA 98168.
The facility is a state of the art carrier neutral data center, and every aspect of its construction and location is designed to provide client’s with the most stable, reliable and efficient option for their IT infrastructure needs. The building is steel and concrete reinforced and boasts a “Seismic Zone 3 critical” rating, which is the highest rating necessary for earthquake resistance. Security at the facility is also top notch, with 24/7 video surveillance and on site security staff, as well as multi-factor authentication including biometric access and key card access.
The South Seattle data center also ensures a stable and redundant power infrastructure. The infrastructure is designed to support over 200 watts per square foot, and power can be delivered in single phase AC, three-phase AC or DC configurations. There are also 4 diesel generators on site (along with 7,000 gallons of fuel) to ensure continued power delivery in the case of a utility power outage.
The building is also served by multiple network providers using separate physical pathways.
