Conveniently located just 7 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, the Austin data center is surrounded with available access to well-appointed hotels and several restaurants. The CyrusOne data center is reinforced with a physical structure which includes concrete bollards, revolving doors, steel-lined walls, and bulletproof glass. The Austin data center provides 70,000 square feet of space including 41,000 square feet of raised floor. The Austin data center is a SSAE 16 SOC I Type II certified, PCI compliant, HIPPA compliant, and is TIA 942 Class 4 enabled. The CyrusOne data center provides excellent security features such as perimeter fencing, on site security guards, revolving doors, and video surveillance with recording of interior and exterior of facility. The access to the data center is restricted through a series of biometric and key card authentication and mantrap.
The CyrusOne Austin data center is built to top-tier standards offering 100% SLA on power, and supports 480 Volts with TVSS. Multiple levels of power redundancy are available in N, 2N, and N+1 configuration. The CyrusOne data centers diverse power is fed by two 400 MW capacity substation with dual underground, concrete encased feeds from electrical substations. The facility has 300 KVA dual input PDUs with static transfer switches, and 2.25 MW dedicated diesel generators for emergency power with a 3,300 gallon belly tank each plus an added 12,000 gallon external tank. Power failures are protected by multiple MGE 8000, 625 KVA UPS systems with battery backup. The batteries are isolated and are in different rooms from the UPS. The Austin data center power cables are High Performance Computing (HPC) capable, supporting 250 Watts per square feet, and are capable of supporting 1000 Watts per square feet.
The 48 inch raised data center floor design provides the cooling and temperature control in the data center through N+1 configured highly efficient multiple 500 tons Trane Chillers with fast restart and adoptive controlled microprocessor. The dual action interlocking dry pipe fire suppression with VESDA control are installed in the data center for safety. The colocation services are provided through cabinets, caged space, and private suits. The CyrusOne data center also offers wholesale and retail colocation options. The CyrusOne data center is a carrier neutral facility and offer dark fiber connectivity options, and are a part of CyrusOne Texas IX (Internet Exchange). The Austin data center has 24×7 support staff available in Network Operation Centers with remote hands facility available.
