CyrusOne’s Austin – Met Center I data center is located at 7401-2 East Ben White Blvd. Austin, TX 78741. Conveniently located just 7 minutes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, the Austin data center is surrounded by access to well-appointed hotels and several restaurants. The CyrusOne data center has a reinforced physical structure including concrete bollards, revolving doors, steel-lined walls, and bulletproof glass. The CyrusOne data center provides 45,000 square feet of space including 17,000 square feet of raised floor. The CyrusOne Austin data center is a SSAE 16 SOC I Type II certified, PCI compliant, HIPPA compliant, and is USGBC LEED certified. The CyrusOne data center provides excellent security features such as perimeter fencing, on site security guards, revolving doors, and video surveillance with recording of the interior and exterior of the facility. The access to the data center is restricted through a series of biometric and key card authentication with a mantrap.

The CyrusOne Austin data center is built to top-tier standards offering 100% SLA on power. Multiple levels of power redundancy are available in N, 2N, and N+1 configurations. The Austin data centers diverse power is delivered by two independent circuits. The facility has dual input PDUs with static transfer switches, and 2.25 MW dedicated diesel generators for emergency power with a 3,300 gallon belly tank each, plus an added 6,000 gallon external tank for every two generators. The CyrusOne data center power cables are High Performance Computing (HPC) capable, supporting 250 Watts per square foot, and capable of supporting 1000 Watts per square foot. The 36 inch raised floor design provides the cooling and temperature control in the data center through Stultz CRAH units with electronically communicated (EC) variable-speed fans. The dual action interlocking dry pipe fire suppression with VESDA control is installed in the data center for safety. The colocation services are provided through cabinets and caged space.

The CyrusOne Austin data center is a carrier neutral facility, and part of CyrusOne Texas IX (Internet Exchange). The data center has 24×7 support staff available in their Network Operation Centers with a remote hands facility available.
