Colo@ Atlanta data center #3 is located at 470 East Paces Ferry Rd. in Atlanta, GA and is one of two Colo@ data centers in Atlanta, GA. The data centers are located within walking distance of each other and are connected with a secure, fast, reliable, and scalable infrastructure. The data center is fed by diverse (2) 1500AkVA, 480V power feeds, while power failure is protected by redundant 750 kVA UPS system, with immediate transfer of load, including cooling, to 1.5 MW and 750kW diesel generators with on site fuel storage. Colocation services are provides through cabinets and custom sized caged space. The data center is fully locked and staffed 24×7. Cabinet solutions include 1/4 cabinet with maximum 10 A circuit, 1/2 cabinet with maximum 20A circuit, and full cabinets with maximum 40A circuit. The data center has 420 tons of HVAC cooling to effectively moderate the temperature, airflow and humidity conditions in the data center for efficient operation of IT equipment, also protected by a VESDA fire suppression system.
The Atlanta 470 East Paces Ferry Rd. data center is a carrier neutral facility with onsite POPs from Zayo, Cogent, Level3, and Tower Cloud. Colo@ utilizes WDM hardware to connect two Atlanta’s data centers to ensure lighting fast and always on connectivity between the two. Colo@ has comprehensive peering arrangements which provide direct connectivity to many locations outside Colo@ facilities. The data center has redundant Internap FCP device to carefully route traffic above and beyond what is possible with standard BGP routing, which routes traffic based on ASN hop counts. The FCP automatically routes traffic around trouble spots and network outages beyond Colo@ network. It also helps traffic select and use the highest performing routes at any given time. The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity options to leading industry carriers and bandwidth providers.
