TierPoint’s Philadelphia data center is located at 4775 League Island Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19112. The data center is conveniently located in South Philadelphia Navy Yard in a Keystone Opportunity Improvement Zone (KIOZ) that allows clients the possibility of qualifying for significant tax abatements. The facility has office, supply storage and conference space available to facilitate its customers.

The data center provides N+1 colocation space options ranging from single U cabinet space, 1/4 cabinet, 1/3 cabinet, 1/2 cabinet, full cabinet, locking cabinet, customized cage space, and private suites. The data center provides 25,700 square feet of total space including 11,700 square feet of anti-static raised floor space. The data center is annually audited for its controls and is a SSAE 16 SOC1 certified facility. Multi-layered security prevent any unauthorized access to the data center with 24x7x365 onsite personnel, 24 hours monitoring of interior and exterior through Axis IP based surveillance cameras, entrance and exit controlled by HID contactless access card and biometric, cabinet access controlled by a dial system, restricted access to cage and suite controlled by HID contact panel, and verified access to authorized client personnel and PTP employees.  The data center is equipped with silent alarm and fire detection with automatic notification, and pre action dry pipe fire suppression system to meet any fire emergencies.

Philadelphia data center provides reliable and fault tolerant N+1 redundant power infrastructure and can offer 100% SLA on power. The power to data center is delivered through dual commercial power feeds. Immediate power failure is protected by a redundant and diverse N+1 UPS system for critical load, in an event of utility power loss. Diesel generators in N+1 redundant configuration provide backup power to the entire facility during a power outage, with onsite fuel storage. Power to each cabinet is delivered in a fully diverse A&B feed with each circuit run from different UPS and generator system that insure uninterrupted power to the system. Multiple redundant CRAC units maintain appropriate cooling and humidity levels in the data center for optimized performance of all components and can be monitored remotely.

The 4775 League Island Blvd. data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple carriers and service providers. The data center offers 100% SLA on network connectivity with cross connection through standard media types  including optical fiber, copper and wireless. The data center has dark fiber facility available. 24x7x365 NOC with onsite Level 2 and Level 3 Engineers provides helpdesk and support services.
