The facility is spread across two adjacent buildings containing a state of the art data center in a single story building with concrete walls, and a multi-story high-tech business continuity building with concrete walls.
The data center provides N+1 colocation space options ranging from single U cabinet space, 1/4 cabinet, 1/3 cabinet, 1/2 cabinet, full cabinet, locking cabinet, customized cage space, and private suites. The data center provides 160,000 square feet of total space including 50,000 square feet of anti-static raised floor space, and 90,000 square feet of office/disaster recovery and business continuity space. The data center is annually audited for its controls and is a SSAE 16 SOC1 and SOC2 Type II facility. Multi-layered security prevent any unauthorized access to the data center with 24×7 roving security patrol, 24x7x365 on site security personnel, monitoring through CCTV cameras, biometric scan, key card access, and mantrap entry with two factor ID card access system. The data center is equipped with an early warning smoke detection system and pre action dry pipe fire suppression system to meet any fire emergencies.

Immediate power failure is protected by a redundant and diverse UPS system for critical load, in an event of utility power loss. Diesel generators in N+1 redundant configuration provide backup power to the entire facility during a power outage, with on site fuel storage. Power to each cabinet is delivered in a fully diverse A&B feed with each circuit run from different UPS and generator system that insure uninterrupted power to the system. The data center supports power densities of 150+ watts per square feet. Multiple redundant CRAC units maintain appropriate cooling and humidity levels in the data center for optimized performance of all components and can be monitored remotely.

The data center offers 100% SLA on network connectivity with flexible solutions including optical fiber, copper and wireless. Multiple private DWDM fiber rings connect the Hawthorne buildings with data centers in Connecticut, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. The data center also has direct Point of Presence (PoP) at 60 Hudson Street (NYC) and 111 8th Ave. (NYC). 24x7x365 NOC on site Level 2 and Level 3 Engineers provides helpdesk and support services.
