Colocation America’s New York data center is located at 11 Skyline Dr, Hawthorne, NY 10532; and is one of three data center facilities that are operated by Colocation America in New York. The building is a multi story, concrete and steel constructed building having 12 foot minimum ceiling clearance. The data center is strategically located outside of threat zones.
The data center offers flexible colocation space options including 1U rack space, 2U rack space, 4U rack space, 10U quarter cabinet, 21U half cabinet, 42U full cabinet, customized cage space, private suites and build-to-suit space. The data center provides over 50,000 square feet of data center space and over 40,000 square feet of disaster recovery space. The Hawthorne data center also provides raised floor space for efficient cooling and cable management. The data center is a certified SSAE 16 SOC II facility that is regularly audited for the rigorous audit requirements for the implementing IT controls, and it also offers solutions fully meeting the complex compliance requirements of HIPAA and PCI DSS. The data center provides excellent security measures featuring 24x7x365 security guards, dual factor access control, closed circuit video surveillance, monitored open door, security breach alarms, card access control, biometric scanners and mantrap entry with a photo id card access system for access to colocation space. The data center is equipped with double sprinkler pre action dry pipe fire suppression system and FM200 system linked to smoke and heat detectors to meet any fire emergencies.
The New York data center is a reliable and fault tolerant power infrastructure. The immediate power failure is protected by redundant UPS system in N+1 configuration. The extended power outage is backed up by redundant diesel generators configured in N+1 design with multi day fuel supply provisioning and contracts. The N+1 PDUs distributes diverse power in A+B configuration to each cabinet in a failsafe design. The data center provides power density of 150+ watts per square feet. The cooling and humidity levels in the data center is maintained by HVAC units. The data center has also 24x7x365 monitored building controls in place.
