Telefonica Miami KeyCenter is located at 11300 NW 25th St., Miami, FL 33172. The data center building is purpose built facility designed to withstand 150 MPH winds, and rated as a category 5 fully hardener facility.
The data center offers locking colocation cabinet either dedicated or shared in one third or quarter or one half, customized caged space, and private suites. All the racks in the facility are seismically braced. The data center provides 173,500 square feet of total enclosed space. The data center offers fully compliant solutions meeting international regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley. The state of the art security in the facility is maintained through seven feet fence around the complete perimeter, bulletproof glass and metal detectors, 24x7x365 onsite security guards, video surveillance through motion detection cameras, building wide door access system, security breach alarms, with all access in the data center is subject to authentication from biometric scanner and key card access system. The data center uses FM200 fire suppression system for extinguishing any fire spark in facility, and is equipped with VESDA and fire alarm system for an early fire alert.
Miami KeyCenter is a fully redundant, reliable, and fault tolerant power infrastructure that is concurrently maintainable. The power to the data center is fed from separate power feeds from Florida Power & Light. The entire critical infrastructure is protected by UPS system in N+2 redundancy on the loss of utility power. The 4 x 2 MW diesel generators provide the emergency power with fuel storage onsite and multiple refuelling contracts. The data center has ultra clean AC process, Siemens 4000 Amp switchboards, and digital static transfer switches. The HVAC units with separate cooling zones, utilizing chilled water cooling system maintains the appropriate cooling and humidity levels in the data center. The water pipes are confined to corridors away from data center area.
