SunGard Carlstadt data center (CRL-410) is located at 410 Commerce Boulevard, Carlstadt, NJ 7072. The data center has 3 x data center rooms, 1 x NOC, and can be accessed by ramps at a 1” to 1’-0” slope for complete handicapped accessibility and ease of movement of materials and equipment. The data center offers colocation and managed hosting, recovery and hotsite services, remote managed IT services, messaging and collaboration, and network and managed security services.
SunGard colocation services includes tailored colocation data center space including cabinets with 42U capacity, or secure cages offering more space and added security for compliance. The data center provides 90,000 square feet of total space, including 54,435 square feet of raised floor space. The data center adheres to SAS 70 Type II along with compliant with PCI DSS and ISO standards. The data center security features 24 x 7 security services, closed circuit TV throughout facility, exterior security cameras, integrated card reader security system, and biometric readers. The 2 x 2 hours fire wall surrounds the entire data center. The data center uses pre action dry pipe sprinkler fire suppression system for any fire spark.
Carlstadt data center provides a very reliable power infrastructure, and offers 100% SLA on power. The immediate power failure is protected by Liebert 12 x 750 KVA Parallel UPS system. The standby power is provided by 4 x 2,000 kw diesel generators with 4,000 gallon fuel tank capacity per generator effective for two days at current load. The data center uses ASCO Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by 66 x 20 tons Liebert air conditioning units. The facility uses Automatic Logic BMS monitoring system.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier One backbones via carrier-diverse local loops. The data center provides meshed, multi-vendor Internet transit connectivity, multiple ILEC and CLEC access providers, diverse path long haul access (public or private), diverse fiber entry and intra-building fiber paths, redundant internal network distribution platforms, dual customer physical handoffs (Copper, single-mode and multi-mode fiber), and private production and recovery MPLS backbone access dedicated to SunGard subscriber traffic. 24 x 7 x 365 onsite NOC provides the support and helpdesk services to its customers.
