NorthState – Charlotte Data Center

Previously a DataChambers facility, NorthState’s Charlotte data center is located at 150 Research Campus Drive, Kannapolis, NC 28081. The data center is located in NC Research Campus, and just minutes from Charlotte Douglas International Airport and is in the city center. NorthState is constructing this 50,000 square feet data center with an expansion growth facility to 200,000 that is estimated to online in the third quarter of 2014. The building is rated to withstand hurricane-force winds, feature state of the art systems for power, security, HVAC, network connectivity, and incorporate the latest LEED standards developed by the US Green Building Council for energy efficient operation. The new data center will provide services such as hosted and cloud based infrastructure solutions, around the clock network management and a variety of data backup and business continuity solutions.
