Datapipe’s North Virginia Data Center is located at 21715 Filigree Ct, Ashburn VA 20147 within the Equinix IBX facility. Because of its prime location, the North Virginia Data Center 1 location operates on one of the largest internet exchange points in the world. The North Virginia Data Center is a Tier 3 standards facility and is a SSAE 16 certified center.

One of the large advantages of this facility is the extensive physical security. All doors and cages are secured with biometric hand readers, and manned security staff operate a the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Video surveillance and motion detection systems also provide added layers of security. The temperature and humidity of the environment is also closely monitored, and there is a 1.75KW cooling capacity for each cabinet.

Power is provided through an N+1 redundant UPS system that allows for up to 2.4KVA per cabinet. Six N+1 2,000 KW diesel generator units are also on site, providing an extremely secure back up power option.
