Colocation America’s Los Angeles data center #1 is located at 624 S Grand Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90017 in the One Wilshire building; and is one of five data center facilities that are operated by Colocation America in Los Angeles. The One Wilshire building is a carrier hotel and one of the most interconnected buildings in the Western United States.

The data center offers flexible colocation space options including 1U rack space, 2U rack space, 4U rack space, 10U quarter cabinet, 21U half cabinet, 42U full cabinet, customized cage space, private suites and build-to-suit space. The data center is a certified SSAE 16 SOC II facility that is regularly audited for the rigorous audit requirements for implementing IT controls, and it also offers solutions fully meeting the complex compliance requirements of HIPAA and PCI DSS. The data center provides excellent security measures featuring 24x7x365 security guards, monitoring of perimeter and interior through IP-DVR cameras with recording of footage, Lenel card access control, biometric scanners, and double mantrap entry to access data center space. The data center is equipped with double interlock pre action dry pipe fire suppression system with VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) control for any early smoke particle detection and suppression of any fire.

The One Wilshire Los Angeles data center has a reliable 2N power infrastructure that is fed from diverse power utility feeds. The data center is an Energy Star certified facility. Immediate power failure is protected through an UPS system in 2N redundancy. Extended power outage is backed up by automatically started diesel generators in 2N redundant configuration with 24 hours of onsite fuel storage at the facility. The 2N PDUs distribute diverse power in A+B configuration to each cabinet in a failsafe design. The data center is specially engineered to deliver power from 75 watts to 150 watts per square feet at 480 volts on a 3-phase, 4-wire system. The cooling and humidity levels in the data center are maintained by a cooling system that includes N+1 chillers, cooling towers, CRAHs and chilled water pumps. The data center also has 24 hours of onsite water storage.

624 S Grand Ave, One Wilshire data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to more than 240 carriers and Tier I service providers. The data center provides N+1 redundancy on all its networks offering 100% network uptime, and offer cross connect services including fiber, copper and coaxial connections.
