Ubiquity’s Los Angeles data center offers clients a bevy of features and redundancies that make it an attractive choice for clients’ IT infrastructure needs. The data center is 163,000 total square feet, which is 100% dedicated to data center operations. The building itself was completely renovated in 1998. Inside the facility, a network operations center continuously monitors multiple layers of physical security including 24 hour a day, seven-day a week security personnel, biometric security scanners, numerous surveillance cameras and key card authorized entry throughout the facility.
Ubiquity is also able to provide clients with a 100% uptime service level agreement because of the reliability and stability of their power and network infrastructures. Each suite is equipped with 2 x 150KvA UPS battery units as well as 1200 Amps of power per suite. All suites are also backed up by three 2,000 Kilowatt caterpillar generators in case there is a primary utility failure.
The environment of the facility is also closely maintained and monitored. The cooling system consists of three Liebert HVAC systems that keep the data center floor temperature at 65 degrees. A dry pipe fire suppression system with pre-activation protects all IT assets from any type of fire danger.
