Located on the Intergate Seattle-East campus facility, and launched in partnership with Sabey Data Centers, telx’s Seattle data center is located at 3433 S 120th Place, Tukwila WA 98168.
The telx SEA1 data center consists of 115,946 square feet of leased floor space. The building is located outside the 500 year flood plain, and is certified as seismic level zone 2B. The facility has a multi-layered security structure, including 24 hour a day, seven days a week on site staff as well as continuous video surveillance. On-site staff monitor the power, cooling and network connectivity at all times. The local utility provides up to 12,500 total kilowatts of power (12.5 Megawatts) and the UPS systems have a capacity of 1500 kilowatts and are arranged in a N+1 configuration. This set up allows for up to 175 watts of power to be delivered per square foot. On site generators are also configured in an N+1 arrangement, and can deliver up to 3000 kilowatts of power in the event of a utility power failure. Finally, the cooling systems are arranged in an N+1 set up. telx’s redundant set ups allow them to provide clients with 100% up-time service level agreements.
In addition to the telx SEA1 colocation facility, telx operates a total of 20 data centers in strategic markets across the United States, including 6 data centers in the New York and New Jersey region, four facilities in California (San Francisco, Los Angeles, two in Santa Clara) two Pacific Northwest facilities (Seattle and Portland) and facilities in Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Phoenix and Charlotte.
