The data center has customer work stations, conference rooms, 7 x universal command centers, 9 x tape rooms, and amenities areas. All areas handicapped accessible by ramps for ease of movement of materials and equipment. The data center offers colocation and managed hosting, recovery and hotsite services, remote managed IT services, messaging and collaboration, and network and managed security services.
SunGard colocation services includes tailored colocation data center space including cabinets with 42U capacity, or secure cages offering more space and added security for compliance. The data center provides 102,400 square feet of total space including 16,000 square feet of raised floor space and 7,000 square feet of future expansion. The floor is designed for the floor load of 1,250 lbs. per square feet. The data center provides 24 x 7 security, CCTV monitoring, interior and exterior monitoring, alarmed access control, and state of the art access card system. The data center has multiple fire detection and suppression systems in N+2 redundancy, including pre action dry pipe sprinkler system, FM 200 under floor fire suppression system, FIKE cheetah control system, thermal sprinkler heads, Intella scan graphics annunciator, and VESDA control system. The data center uses DataTrax monitoring system.
Scottsdale data center provides a reliable power infrastructure, and offers 100% SLA on power. The data center has redundant diverse power distribution system including demarcation power, power distribution units (PDUs), UPS systems, universal serial bus (USB). The standby power is provided by 1 x 1,250 kW diesel generator, 1 x 1,500 kW diesel generator, 3 x 2,000 kW diesel generator. The data center has automatic transfer switches (ATS) and emergency service bus (ESB). The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by 19 x 30 tons Liebert CRAC units and 10 x 25 tons Stulz CRAC units. The data center has automated building monitoring, management, and alerting systems on mechanical, environmental, and electrical infrastructure.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier One backbones via carrier-diverse local loops.
