SunGard San Diego data center is located at 9645 Scranton Road, Suite 100, San Diego, CA 92121. The data center has 1 x customer’s lounge, 2 x conference rooms, and 1 x Network Operations Center (NOC). All areas handicapped accessible by ramps for ease of movement of materials and equipment. The data center offers colocation and managed hosting, enterprise cloud services, remote managed IT services, messaging and collaboration, and network and managed security services.
SunGard colocation services includes tailored colocation data center space including cabinets with 42U capacity, or secure cages offering more space and added security for compliance. The data center provides 20,180 square feet of total space including 12,000 square feet of 18 inches raised floor space. The data center floor is designed for the floor load of 300 lbs. per square feet. The data center security features integrated CCTV monitoring with recording, C-Cure badge access system, and operations staff onsite 24×7. The building perimeter is monitored by security staff and exterior call box is available for after-hours data center access. The data center uses dry pipe fire suppression system with VESDA control for any fire spark. The data center has 128 smoke detectors located under floor, on ceiling, and above ceiling.
San Diego data center provides a reliable power infrastructure, and offers 100% SLA on power. The immediate power failure is protected by 3 x redundant 160 kVA UPS systems. The standby power is provided by 1 x 825 kW diesel generator with 1,200 gallons of fuel storage onsite. The data center uses Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) for the smooth transfer of load to secondary power source. The facility has electrical monitoring that includes Branch Circuit Monitoring (BCM) and critical power infrastructure components. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by 8 x 26 tons HVAC units with leak detection. The data center uses DataTrax Foreseer® environmental monitoring system.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier One backbones via carrier-diverse local loops. The data center also offers Cisco and Juniper powered Internet mesh platform, 4 x local loop providers over SONET, 2 x hubbed DS-3s for PTP and frame relay connections, and dual Ethernet drops to every customer cabinet. 24 x 7 NOC provides helpdesk and support services.
