The data center has very reliable N+1 electrical design and distribution. The utility power to data center is fed by Omaha Public Power District Company supported by two discrete power substations, and distributed through a fully redundant ring design. Critical load capability up to 3 MW in a fully redundant, isolated 2N UPS configuration delivered through eight independent A and B 2,500 KVA buses. All UPSs are double conversion units paralleled for capacity, a single STS N+1 configuration and a wraparound maintenance bypass to allow UPS service without cutting power to A or B side of critical load. Battery DC energy storage system is arranged in an N+1 battery string per UPS module. Automatic transfer switches ensure the smooth transition of power to 8 x 2250 kW diesel generators in N+1 redundancy with 24 hours of fuel in multiple tanks. Precision cooling floor mounted chilled water air conditioning units provide N+1 cooling to each suite. Chilled water supplied through diverse and redundant loops from an N+1 configured central plant with multiple 1250 ton water cooled chillers. The data center is installed with rope style leak detection under all raised floors.
