Data Holdings’ Milwaukee data center is located at 3135 W. Highland Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53208. The data center is a purpose built two story hardened structure located along the south side of Highland Boulevard. The data center has an easy access to downtown area, Interstate 94, and Milwaukee International Airport (MIA). Further, the data center is located in seismic zone zero and is above 500 years floodplains.

The data center is a Tier III infrastructure facility with concurrently maintainable design. The data center provides wholesale and retail colocation configurations in the form of cabinets, customized cage space, and private data center suites from 1,000 square feet and above. The data center provides 46,000 square feet of total enclosed space, including raised floor space. The data center is regularly audited in accordance with SSAE 16 SOC I requirements, and also assist its clients to meet the stringent compliance requirements of PCI DSS v3 and HIPAA. The excellent security measures protects the data center from any unauthorized access including 24x7x365 security guards, perimeter fence, security entrance gate, video surveillance of interior and exterior of facility, key card access, and biometric screening. The data center is also equipped with state of the art fire detection and suppression system.

The Milwaukee data center is a reliable and fault tolerant 2N power infrastructure with a 10 MW of total commercial power is served through multiple utility feeds. The data center is an efficient green energy design, and has earned Gold certification by US Green Building Council’ LEED (USGBC). The data center provides excellent PUE (Power User Effectiveness) of 1.28. The entire critical infrastructure is protected by 2N UPS system on the loss of utility power. The emergency power to data center is provided by standby diesel generators with fuel storage onsite. The single/three phase AC power in A+B redundant feeds is delivered to each cabinet. The data center support power densities between 125 to 275 watts per square feet, and also provides higher densities cabinets that can accommodate 25kW+ loads. The high efficiency chilling system with airside economizer technology provides data center users with year round free cooling when the outside air temperature drops below 60 degrees. The data center white roof has SRI (Solar Reflective Index) of 110 that reduces the heat gain tops.

The data center has two terrestrial entrances, one on the north side of building and one on the south. Each one is served by an underground fiber vault.
