Colocation America’s Miami data center #2 is located at 36 NE 2nd St, Miami, FL 33132; and is one of two data center facilities that are operated by Colocation America in Miami. The data center is located in downtown Miami and outside FEMA’s 500 year floodplain. The building is a category 5 hurricane rated facility.
The data center offers flexible colocation space options including 1U rack space, 2U rack space, 4U rack space, 10U quarter cabinet, 21U half cabinet, 42U full cabinet, customized cage space, private suites and build-to-suit space. The data center is a certified SSAE 16 SOC II facility that is regularly audited for the rigorous audit requirements for implementing IT controls, and it also offers solutions fully meeting the complex compliance requirements for different regulation standards including HIPAA, PCI DSS, GLB and FED banking regulations. The data center provides excellent security measures featuring 24x7x365 security guards, monitoring through CCTV with recording of footage, card access control and biometric fingerprint scanners. The data center is equipped with pre action dry pipe fire suppression system to meet any fire emergencies.
The Miami Colocation America data center is a reliable and fault tolerant 2N power infrastructure with power to the facility fed by two independent utility grids. Immediate power failure is protected by a redundant UPS system in 2N configuration. Extended power outages are backed up by 2 x 500 kW diesel generators with onsite fuel storage tank for 72+ hours of runtime. The N+1 PDUs distributes diverse power in A+B configuration to each cabinet in a failsafe design. The data center provides power density of 150 watts per square feet and also delivers 48V DC circuits. The redundant cooling system maintains cooling and humidity levels in the data center.
36 NE 2nd St data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier I carriers and service providers. The data center provides N+1 redundancy on all its networks offering 100% network uptime with multi layer network design and multi Gigabit capacity. The data center provides connectivity to diversely routed dark fiber Metro rings with dual entry from 36NE and 2nd to NAP of America. The data center has Meet Me Room (MMR) with fiber, copper, coax and Pots connectivity options.
