Strategically located just 25 miles outside Manhattan, Webair’s Tier III NY co-location facility known as “NY1″ is located at 501 Franklin Ave, Garden City NJ 11530. The facility is easily accessible via major highways, as well as the LIRR train station.

NY1 is Webair’s newest data center, and as such is designed to provide clients with a safe, secure and efficient environment for their IT resources. Physical security is multi-layered and includes everything from video surveillance at key entrance and exit points, 24/7 on site security personnel, mantraps, and proximity card readers. The data center is also protected by a VESDA smoke detection system, and the INERGEN fire suppression system. The data center itself is 25,000 square feet and supports 300 pounds of equipment per square foot. A 24/7 loading dock is also available, capable of supporting full tractor trailers, whenever clients need to transport their assets into or out of the facility.

3 Megawatts of utility power is dedicated to the data center which help provide true A/B power to every cabinet in an authentic N+1 configuration. Up to 300 watts of power is available per square foot. 2 redundant and paralleled generators are located on site (expandable to 4 generators) in order to provide back up power in the case of utility power failure, and 14 days of fuel are stored on site. Webair’s cooling infrastructure is supported by CRAC units and a dry cooler unit, with 200 tons available via a N+2 configuration. Multiple sensors monitor temperature throughout the facility, and an 18” raised floor provides for high velocity air flow.
