Hivelocity Hosting’s Tampa data center is located at 8010 Woodland Center Boulevard, #700, Tampa, FL 33614. The data center is state of the art facility that provides lab space for onsite work days, cable TV and couch facility, and free soda and coffee.
The data center provides flexible colocation space options including rack space in 1U increment, quarter cabinet, half cabinet, full cabinet, and customized cage space. The data center was expanded in 2013 with provisioning of more than 12,000 square feet of additional space that includes raised floor space and space for new NOC. The data center has met the rigorous industry standards and is a certified SSAE 16 Type II, PCI, and HIPAA facility. The data center provides multiple layers of security including 24x7x365 onsite security staff, CCTV cameras monitoring, escorted access, locked cabinets, and access to facility is authenticated through the use of card readers with security clearance from within secured lobby. The facility is also been equipped with dry pipe fire suppression system for extinguishing any fire spark.
The Tampa data center provides a reliable and fault tolerant N+1 power infrastructure, and a total of 1.8 MW of power is delivered through multiple electricity grids. The immediate power failure is protected by multiple redundant UPS system with battery back in N+1 redundancy that is capable of providing 20 minutes of backup time at full load. The N+1 diesel generators provide emergency power to data center with ample fuel storage onsite for 4 days of continuous operation. The data center provides 120V/208V AC and -48V DC power to each cabinet, and power density of 200 watts per square feet. The N+2 CRAC units capable of delivering 300+ tons of cooling maintain cooling and humidity levels in the facility.
