The Newark data center is a LEED gold design and certified. The data center is powered from renewable wind energy and solar panels energy, and offer redundancy of N+2 at each level. A total of 36 MW of power is fed to data center with a contribution of 2 MW of solar energy. The data center offers 350 watts per square feet of power density. The power failure is protected through N+2 configured, 32 rotatory power UPS system of 1,300 kW each. The N+2 configured, 32 diesel generators of 2,250 kW capacity each provides the power to the data center on the loss of utility power. The data center is energy efficient facility with a PUE of 1.38. The data center offers 100 % SLA on power, cooling and Uptime. One key attribute of the environmental design is the harvesting of rainwater and the re-utilization of cooling tower blow down water for site irrigation.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility offering premium bandwidth with on-net connectivity and 10G ports for multiple providers. The on-net providers includes, but not limited to, Telia, Zayo, and Level3.
