FORTRUST’s Denver data center is located at 4300 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO 80216. The data center is the only colocation data center in the United States certified Tier III Gold by the Uptime Institute. FORTRUST is located 49 feet above the maximum FEMA projected flood elevation, and outside 100 and 500 year floodplains. The facility is in seismic zone 1, outside any normal flight paths, and is virtually free of natural disasters such as earthquakes, hurricanes, and tornadoes.
FORTRUST offers a wide range of colocation solutions starting from single cabinets to caged space to large private suites to private data modules. The data center is the largest in the region offering 300,000 square feet and 34 megawatts of data center capacity. The data center is regularly audited in accordance with SSAE 16 SOC I, SOC II, and SOC III requirements. The data center provides state of the art security through 24×7 security guards, digital video surveillance, lockable cabinets, access cards and biometric scan authentication, and mantrap entry. The data center is protected by state of the art fire suppression system, and has 2 and 4 hour rated fire walls throughout the facility. There is a fire department and 1st responder unit adjacent toon the property.
The Denver data center is concurrently maintainable. The facility is provided with 30 MVA of critical power with multiple utility feeds from diverse substations onsite. The data center offers SLAs for 100% power availability and delivery. The critical infrastructure is protected by 750 kVA UPS system in N+ 1 redundant configuration. The emergency power is provided by 2 MW and 2.5 MW Caterpillar diesel generators dedicated to each substation. The static transfer switch (STS) and power distribution units (PDUs) deliver A+B side electrical circuits to each individual cabinet or rack for dual corded equipment in a 2N configuration with built in branch circuit monitoring for every circuit. The data center provides power density of 100 watts per square feet in raised floor areas, and 800 watts per square feet and rack density of 32 kW in private data modules. The cooling and humidity levels in data centers are maintained by closed loop propylene glycol chilled water system supplied by multiple 440 ton York air cooled chillers and pumps in an N+1 configuration. The data center offers SLAs for 100% HVAC environmental control and availability.
FORTRUST’s 4300 Brighton Blvd data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple service providers. The data center also provides cross connect services.
