Control Circle’s Chicago data center is located in downtown Chicago at 472 South LaSalle, Chicago, IL 60605, and is a Tier III infrastructure. The 180,000 square feet colocation facility is adjacent to the Chicago Board of Trade (CME) and is located in the heart of the financial district, where it facilitates more than 80 customers including tier 1 carriers, financial trading firms, CDNs, cloud computing providers, and systems integrator. The facility is SSAE 16 Type II certified and provides the excellent security features through onsite officers, mantraps, and CCTV surveillance. The key card and biometric scanners are installed at multiple checkpoints before accessing to any resource in the data center. The data center power failure is protected by N+1 configured UPS systems and automatic transfer to diesel generator with 2N redundancy. The data center cooling and humidity is maintained through N+1 cooling system, and features a return-air plenum, allowing for hot aisle containment to maximize energy efficiency. The fire suppression system is installed in the data center for life safety.
Control Circle offers robust connectivity through data centers via cross-connects; Any2 Internet peering exchange through 100 Mbps, 1Gbps, and 10Gbps offering; fiber and DWDM service. The data center is a carrier neutral facility and has access to 80+ networks, 35+ carriers, and ISP’s. The colocation services are provided through single standard-power density cabinet, high-power density cabinets, large cages or private suites. The data centers feature 24-hour services such as the Operations Support Center, remote hands, receiving, storage, and loading dock access. Customer service facilities include conference rooms, offices, kitchens, and tech lounges as well.
