Open since 2001, Zayo’s second San Diego data center is over 12,000 square feet and is located at 9606 Aero Drive, San Diego CA 92123.

Zayo’s Aero drive data center has a number of features that make it an attractive option for businesses looking for an efficient and secure location for their IT infrastructure. The facility’s physical location is monitored 24/7 by on site network operations (NOC) staff and video surveillance. Multi factor security authorization is needed throughout the facility, which includes bio metric scanning, perimeter detection alarms and personal pin code access to cabinets.

The on-site NOC also closely monitors the power and network infrastructure of the data center. Power is maintained through 2 separate electrical systems and on-site backup diesel generators guarantee at least 48 hours of power. The network infrastructure is also fully redundant, allowing clients access to multiple ISPs and carriers.
