The physical infrastructure is powered by both AC and DC power. Back up power is also available in the event of a primary utility failure, through on-site back up generators that can power the entire facility for up to 48 hours. A priority re-fueling contract means a quick response time in the event that additional fuel is needed. The environmental systems are set up in an N+1 configuration, which include 13 20 ton HVAC units. Temperature is constantly maintained at 72 degrees, and humidity is maintained between 30% and 60%.
The on site Network operations center constantly monitors data center security and operations. A Falcon alert system is in place which provides immediate alerts to data center personnel of any issue involving HVAC, generator, fire alarms, or the environment. For physical security, All entry and exit points are monitored via video surveillance, and key card access, biometrics and man traps keep clients IT assets safe and secure.
