WORLDLINK’s Seattle 2 data center is located at 1300 SW 7th St., Suite 112, Tukwila, WA 98057. WORLDLINK’s data centers are just 10 minutes South and 10 minutes North of the main metropolitan area of Seattle and within minutes of SeaTac International Airport and both main Highways I-5 and I-405. The data center has easy access and free parking facility. The data center is seismic zone 4 Frame bracing, highest of any data center in Puget Sound.
Seattle 2 data center is a Tier III infrastructure facility. The data center provides rack space by unit, half and full cabinet colocation, and caged space. The 1U rack space is provided in sharing locking cabinet, 1 x 120V power outlet, 15 Amp Power, 100 Mbps Ethernet connection, 5 Mbps unlimited bandwidth, 1 IP, and multiple Tier I bandwidth providers. The 21U rack space in locking cabinets is provided with 120V N+1 UPS power circuit, 15 Amp Power, 100 Mbps Ethernet connection, 10 Mbps unlimited bandwidth, 16 IPs, and multiple Tier I bandwidth providers. The dedicated 42U locking cabinets is provided with 120V N+1 UPS power circuit, 20 Amp Power, 100 Mbps Ethernet connection, 20 Mbps unlimited bandwidth, 32 IPs, and multiple Tier I bandwidth providers. The data center offers 18 Inches antistatic raised floor for the efficient management of all cable systems. The data center has 24 x 7 x 365 video surveillance, monitoring, and recording. The access to data center resources is authenticated through biometric scan and key card entry. FM-200 fire suppression system is installed for any fire spark in data center.
The data center has AC power with dual utility feeds through PSE, one #6 greenest in the US, and other #1 in Washington state. The facility has dedicated 1 MW power grid. The immediate power failure is protected by fully scalable three phase UPS system with automatic failover, checking, and monitoring. The data center also offers metered or unmetered power options. The UPS has 60 minutes of battery bank. The automatic diesel generators provides the emergency power with over 72 hours of runtime, and priority fuel agreements. The data center has N+1 redundant cooling system with efficient hot isle/cold isle cooling design. The data center has dual cooling and humidity control systems, and clean air exchange for higher efficiency.
Seattle 2 data center is a carrier neutral facility, and offers connectivity to multiple Tier I carriers and service providers including MCI/UUnet, AboveNet, Time Warner, Savvis, Sprint, Level 3, and Cogent. The facilities have multiple fiber carriers into each facility. With multi-redundant 10g+ fiber connections for each facility, the redundant fiber paths loop around Lake Washington providing regional redundancy also. With an all Cisco based redundant core GigaBit network, full BGP routing, multi-homed Tier 1 connections, full connectivity to the Westin POP meet-me-room and Seattle Internet Exchange (SIX) connection, WORLDLINK offers a 99.99% network uptime guarantee.
