Windstream’s Ephrata data center is located at 140 Akron Rd. Ephrata, PA, 17522. The data center is designed to safeguard systems, applications and data from tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, fires, floods and other disasters.
The colocation services are provided through 1/2 or full cabinets. The data center offers 2,500 square feet of space, and is raised floor design. The data center is a SSAE 16 SOC I Type II certified. Facility has 24 x 7 x 365 video surveillance, lockable cabinets, and key card access to the data center resources. The pre action dry pipe, FM 200, fire suppression system is installed in the data center for the life and equipment safety.
Utility power to the data center is fed through Penna Power & Light Co. 2 x 125 kVA Liebert UPS system provides the backup power to the infrastructure with the automatic transferring of load to 2 x 750 kVA Onans generators. The power protected circuits from diverse UPS system is delivered to each cabinet. The data center is equipped with redundant HVAC system to maintain appropriate level of cooling, and controlling the humidity for the efficient performance of the equipment.
Atlanta data center is a carrier neutral facility and offers redundant fiber access. The network infrastructure is Cisco certified core network, and access to Windstream MPLS network. Windstream utilize Internet and MPLS connectivity via multiple fiber routes in and out of colocation, as well as diverse paths to the Internet.
