The Portland data center provides a reliable power infrastructure with power to the facility being is served from Portland General Electrics power grid via a 3-phase power feed into its own private transformer, which is on site. The entire critical infrastructure is protected by an APC UPS system with battery backup that is capable of providing 30 minutes of backup power. The standby diesel generators with automatic transfer switch provides emergency power in the event of a prolonged power outage which transfers the facilities load within 10 second of utility failure. Power is then kept on the generator systems until a clean and steady stream of power can be maintained from the primary power grid for at least 20 minutes. The power systems are tested on a weekly basis to ensure its properly functioning. The redundant Liebert HVAC units control cooling and humidity levels in the data center.

Weberz’s 22414 N.E. Townsend Way data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple carriers. The facility is connected to the Internet using two OC-48 fiber connections each of which are connected to separate self-healing fiber rings. The data centers network infrastructure is designed for maximum redundancy and minimum downtime, with routers powered using OpenBSD, and a routing system that utilizes OpenBGPD software to provide its multi stage platform using eBGP and iBGP services.
