Vazata’s Carrollton data center #2 is located at 2440 Marsh Lane Carrollton, TX 75007. The facility is ideal for companies seeking high density colocation data centers, disaster recovery centers, managed services with an emphasis on data center security in a metro Dallas data centers.
The Carrollton Data Center is a Tier III infrastructure facility with some Tier IV attributes. Vazata provides migration services from physical to virtual environment (colocation to cloud), through a solution called Vazata Cabinet. The Vazata Cabinet includes a 42U cabinet, redundant power feeds, 100 Mbps of bandwidth, 500 GB of storage and a free Virtual Server. This cabinet allows customers to colocate already owned physical hardware in a Tier III FISMA compliant data center, and have a sizable amount of cloud infrastructure to utilize and use as their own solution. The customer can virtualize the physical infrastructure as a DR strategy with options to grow and test their virtual environment as and when required.
The Texas data center provides 12,500 square feet of 36 inch raised floor data center space. The Texas colocation services are provided through cabinets and caged space. The Carrollton Data Center is designed to meet compliance standards, SSAE 16 SOC I Type II, SAS 70 Type II, HIPPA, PCI, SOX, FISMA, and DIACAP. The Texas data center helps save on operating costs by meeting the LEED Gold design standards, utilizing Hot Aisle/Cold Aisle configurations to effectively direct cool air into servers and hot air into return streams, balancing air flow. The data center has a 24 x 7 x 365 monitoring through a NOC, vehicle barrier fencing, security guards presence, and biometric authentication. The Vazata data center also has a dual interlock dry pipe fire suppression system center and smoke detection under and below the raised data center flooring.
A total of 2.0 MW of power is served through a N+1 utility feed with three diverse paths to the facility. UPS and PDU’s to the floor are configured in 2N while generators are in N+1 configuration. The cooling is configured as N+1 with redundant header chilling loop to control the temperature and humidity in the data center. The data center provides high performance Blade Servers with fiber channeled SAN storage access.
Fiber enters the data center building through two separate entrance facilities on different sides of the facility. The facility has multi-mode and single-mode fiber conduits (redundant pathways) to the meet-me-room. The data center is a carrier neutral facility and offers connectivity to the carriers including AT&T, Time Warner Telecom, and Verizon. VAZATA has a private DWDM fully redundant carrier grade fiber ring to connect VAZATA Dallas data centers to major carrier hotels. The data center has 24 x 7 x 365 help desk and onsite support.
