Ubiquity’s Phoenix data center offers clients a bevy of features and redundancies that make it an attractive choice for clients’ IT infrastructure needs. The data center is 160,000 total square feet with approximately 148,000 square feet of raised data center floor space. Office space is also available to clients. The data center is situated in a natural disaster free zone, and inside the facility, a network operations center continuously monitors multiple layers of physical security including 24 hour a day, seven-day a week security personnel, biometric security scanners and key card access readers. The data center is also PCI and SAS Type II certified.
Ubiquity is also able to provide clients with a 100% uptime service level agreement because of the reliability and stability of their power and network infrastructures. Four 10 megawatt feeds are available to the data center, which supplies up to 200 watts per square feet. The power infrastructure is set up in a 2N configuration, and the back up power system is anchored by an N+1 configured Cummins back up generator. The facility’s HVAC cooling systems are arranged in an N+1 configuration and include nearly 100 CRAC units, eight chilled water plants and eight thermal storage tanks.
