Inside the facility, a network operations center continuously monitors multiple layers of physical security including 24 hour a day, seven-day a week security personnel, biometric security scanners, numerous closed circuit surveillance cameras and restricted floor access.
Ubiquity is also able to provide clients with a 100% uptime service level agreement because of the reliability and stability of their power and network infrastructures. The data center is housed on the same power grid as the Federal Reserve Bank, and back up diesel generators are set up in an N+1 redundant configuration, in case the primary utility power fails. The network infrastructure includes N+1 redundant layer switching as fell as full router redundancy.
The environment of the facility is also closely maintained and monitored, including 24/7 pro-active manned monitoring of temperature, humidity and dust levels. State of the art fire suppression and cooling systems are in place, ensuring a stable environment for client’s IT assets.
