TierPoint’s Lenexa data center is located at 14500 West 105th Street, Lenexa, KS 66215. The data center strategically located in the Midwest is a single tenant building with guest office, conference room and break room areas. The facility provides separate and dedicated spaces for electrical equipment, mechanical corridors, data halls, carriers, equipment storage, staging area, and loading docks.
The data center provides N+1 colocation space options ranging from single U cabinet space, 1/4 cabinet, 1/3 cabinet, 1/2 cabinet, full cabinet, locking cabinet, customized cage space, and private suites. The data center provides 36” anti-static raised floor space for efficient airflow to all components. The data center is annually audited for its controls and is a SSAE 16 SOC1 Type II, HIPAA and PCI DSS certified facility. Multi-layered security prevent any unauthorized access to the data center with 24x7x365 onsite security personnel, stringent pre-screening for access requests, photo validation required, fingerprint and ID validation required, video surveillance in all critical areas and data halls with capturing and retention of footage for 90 days, monitoring of access control and video surveillance system, badge readers, biometric scan and mantrap entry. The data center is equipped with an early warning smoke detection system and pre action dry pipe fire suppression system to meet any fire emergencies.
The Lenexa data center provides reliable and fault tolerant power infrastructure and can offer 100% SLA on power. The power to data center is delivered through two utility transformers that are protected inside mechanical area/yard. Immediate power failure is protected by a redundant and diverse N+1 redundant UPS system with battery strings for critical load, in an event of utility power loss. The data center has also a separate and dedicated UPS system in 2N redundancy for two telecom rooms. Diesel generators in N+1 redundancy provide backup power to the entire facility during a power outage, with onsite fuel storage sufficient to run for 24 hours of runtime. Power to each cabinet is delivered in a fully diverse A&B feed with each circuit run from different UPS and generator system that insure uninterrupted power to the system. The data center can deliver higher power densities of 20 kW per cabinet. Multiple redundant N+1 high-efficiency chillers with economizers and pumps maintain appropriate cooling and humidity levels in the data center for optimized performance of all components and can be monitored remotely
The 14500 West 105th Street data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple carriers and service providers.
