Terremark - Seattle Regional DC-02 MFA

Terremark’s Seattle data center is located at 6906 S. 204th Street, Kent, VA 98032. The colocation services are provided through open racks, cabinets, and customized caged floor spaces. The data center is a SAS 70 Type II certified facility. The data center has raised floors with load flooring bearing capacity up to 150 lbs. per square feet. The loading docks, freight elevators and other equipment are available to assist with movement of equipment.

The data center has centrally located command center manned by security personnel 24x7x365. Security personnel monitor all security cameras, guard building entrance and exit access points, and control keycard access to elevators, floors and roof areas. In addition, environmental sensors notify tenants and mobilize rescue in case of emergency. The smoke detector on the colocation floor, communication equipment, mechanical, and electrical rooms for early warning.

The data center has a reliable and scalable power infrastructure. The power is fed from fully redundant commercial power feeds. The AC power is in 120v, 208v, 230v while DC power in 48v available in standard increment. The power failure is protected through UPS/CPS system. The generator provides the backup power to the data center for all critical/non-critical load. Redundant cooling system control the cooling and humidity levels in the data center.

Seattle data center is a carrier neutral facility, and provides numerous advantages through its infrastructure and connectivity to major carriers. The data center has multiple carriers and service providers on site. The NOC provides colocation related services including remote hands/smart hands, installation services, staging and engineering services.
