On site generators are also configured in an N to N+1 arrangement, and can deliver up to 8900 kilowatts of power in the event of a utility power failure. Finally, the cooling systems are arranged in an N+1 set up. telx’s redundant set ups allow them to provide clients with 100% up-time service level agreements.

In addition to the telx NYC2 colocation facility, telx operates a total of 20 data centers in strategic markets across the United States, including 6 data centers in the New York and New Jersey region, four facilities in California (San Francisco, Los Angeles, two in Santa Clara) two Pacific Northwest facilities (Seattle and Portland) and facilities in Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Phoenix and Charlotte.
