SunGard Houston data center (HOU-757) is located at 757 North Eldridge Parkway, Suite 200, Houston, TX 77079. The data center is high rise building with steel and concrete masonry perimeter walls. The data center has command center and conference room. The data center offers colocation and managed hosting, enterprise cloud services, remote managed IT services, messaging and collaboration, and network and managed security services.
SunGard colocation services includes tailored colocation data center space including cabinets with 42U capacity, or secure cages offering more space and added security for compliance. The data center provides 20,000 square feet of raised floor space. The data center adheres to SAS 70 Type II along with compliant with PCI DSS and ISO standards. The data center provides 24 x 7 security personnel, badge only access, exterior security cameras and video surveillance. The facility has integrated card reader and biometric security system in place for gaining access to data center resources. The data center is protected by Fike Cheetah control system, FM-1301 under floor suppression, and a pre action sprinkler system.
Houston data center provides a reliable power infrastructure, and offers 100% SLA on power. The data center has redundant Liebert UPS, PDUs, and static transfer switches. The standby power is provided by Stewart & Stevenson 1.4 MW diesel generator with 10,000 gallons of fuel storage onsite. The generator system is tested regularly. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by 14 x Liebert chilled water HVAC units and 3 x 80 tons redundant Carrier chillers in N+1 configuration.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier One backbones via carrier-diverse local loops. The data center provides diverse fiber entry and intra building fiber paths and Nortel Option 81C PBX with multiple digital communication lines. The data center uses Nokia, WatchGuard and Cisco firewalls. The network infrastructure includes 2 x Juniper M10 routers and 4 x Cisco Catalyst 6509 switches. 24 x 7 x 365 onsite NOC provides the support and helpdesk services to its customers.
