SunGard Houston data center (HOU-12025) is located at 12025 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060. The data center is a single story building with steel and concrete masonry perimeter walls. The data center has 1 x command center, 1x conference room and 2 x customer cubicles. The data center offers colocation and managed hosting, enterprise cloud services, remote managed IT services, messaging and collaboration, and network and managed security services.

SunGard colocation services includes tailored colocation data center space including cabinets with 42U capacity, or secure cages offering more space and added security for compliance. The data center provides 23,000 square feet of total space including 15,000 square feet of hosting space. The data center adheres to SAS 70 Type II along with compliant with PCI DSS and ISO standards. The data center provides 24 x 7 security personnel, badge only access, exterior security cameras and video surveillance. The facility has integrated card reader and biometric security system in place for gaining access to data center resources. The data center pre action dry pipe sprinkler fire suppression system for any fire spark.

Houston data center provides a reliable power infrastructure, and offers 100% SLA on power. The data center has redundant Powerware UPS, PDUs, and static transfer switches. The standby power is provided by 2 MW diesel generator with 3,500 gallons of fuel storage onsite. The generator system is tested regularly. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by 23 x Data Air chilled water HVAC units and 3 x 180 tons redundant Carrier chillers. The data center uses integrated life safely and facility engineering systems with centralized monitoring, enhanced operational supervision and accelerated response to monitor alarms.

The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier One backbones providers including AT&T, Time Warner, Comcast, Phonoscope, Level (3), Abovenet, Verizon Business, Cogent etc. The data center uses Cisco firewalls and Cisco Catalyst 6509 switches. 24 x 7 x 365 onsite NOC provides the support and helpdesk services to its customers.
