SunGard Denver data center (DEN-550) is located at 550 East 84th Ave., Suite E-5, Thornton, CO 80229. The data center offers colocation and managed hosting, enterprise cloud services, remote managed IT services, messaging and collaboration, and network and managed security services.
SunGard colocation services includes tailored colocation data center space including cabinets with 42U capacity, or secure cages offering more space and added security for compliance. The data center provides 20,000 square feet of 24 inches raised floor data center space. The data center adheres to SAS 70 Type II along with PCI DSS standards and ISO. Multiple physical layers of security with controlled security procedures is maintained in the data center with CCTV monitoring and DVR recording, 24 x 7 security monitoring and C-Cure badge control system. The data center uses FIKE fire detection system and pre action dry pipe fire suppression system with VESDA control smoke detection apparatus for any fire spark.
Thornton data center provides a very reliable power infrastructure, and offers 100% SLA on power. The power to data center is fed by 2 x public utility feeds in N+1 configuration. The immediate power failure is protected by 3 x redundant 500 kVA UPS systems and 1 x redundant 400 kVA UPS system. The standby power is provided by 3 x 1,500 kVA Cummins Synergy diesel generators with 8,000 gallons fuel storage tank onsite. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by 23 x 24 tons Data Aire HVAC units and 4 x 30 tons Ecosaire HVAC units with ultrasonic humidification system.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier One backbones via carrier-diverse local loops. The data center provides Juniper and Cisco Systems powered Internet mesh platform, 2 x local loop providers over SONET and dual Internet Ethernet drops to every customer cabinet. The network infrastructure includes 2 x Juniper border routers, 2 x Cisco Customer access routers, 2 x Cisco customer access switches and 5 x Hubbed DS-3s for PTP and Frame Relay connections. 24 x 7 x 365 onsite NOC provides the support and helpdesk services to its customers.
