SunGard Denver data center (DEN-3431) is located at 3431 Windsor Dr, Aurora, CO 80011. The data center offers colocation and managed hosting, enterprise cloud services, remote managed IT services, messaging and collaboration, and network and managed security services.
SunGard colocation services includes tailored colocation data center space including cabinets with 42U capacity, or secure cages offering more space and added security for compliance. The data center is 150,000 square feet single tenant building built in 2001, including 22,500 square feet of 30 inches raised floor space. 52,500 future raised floor is also planned. The procedures and controls in data center supports ISO 9000 and SAS-70 Type II certifications. Multiple physical layers of security with controlled security procedures is maintained in the data center with key card secured facility. The data center uses FE227 fire suppression system with VESDA control smoke detection apparatus for any fire spark. The fire station is adjacent to property. The data center has been installed with multiple leak detection systems.
Aurora data center provides N+1 to 2N power infrastructure, and offers 100% SLA on power. 11 MW rated utility feed is available from high availability substation. The immediate power failure is protected by 6 x 750 kVA UPS modules in 2N configuration. The standby power is provided by 3 x 2 MW Cummins diesel generator in N+1 redundancy with 8,000 gallons fuel storage tank onsite. The Power Distribution Units (PDUs) protected power is provided by 18 x 150 kVA PDU with integrated STS in 2N redundancy and 2 x 225 kVA PDU with integrated STS in 2N redundancy. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled by 520 tons Chillers with 2 x 600 tons cooling towers in N+1 redundancy, 22 x 30 tons chilled water CRAH units and 12 x 26 tons CRAC units. The data center has automated building monitoring, management and alerting systems on mechanical, environmental, and electrical infrastructure.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple Tier One providers. The data center provides 3 x local loop and long haul providers and dual Internet Ethernet drops to every customer cabinet. The network infrastructure includes 2 x Juniper core switches providing multicarrier mesh Internet backbone, 6 x Cisco 6500 series core switches and Cisco 7000 series core routers. 24 x 7 x 365 onsite NOC provides the support and helpdesk services to its customers.
