RECOL’s Branford data center is located at 4 Pin Oak Drive, Branford, CT 6405. RECOL offers colocation space through half and full cabinets and caged space. The data center provides colocation, hosting services, data storage and backup services, and managed services.
The Branford data center provides 20,000 square feet of total enclosed space that also includes 18 inches of raised floor for the sub floor cable management and efficient air flow. The data center provides security 24×7 video surveillance, monitoring by onsite staff, and controlled access. The data center is protected by fire through the use of FM 200 fire suppression system distributed in the entire facility.
The data center provides a redundant and reliable power infrastructure. The critical infrastructure is protected by Mitsubishi UPS system on the loss of utility power with automatic transfer of load to auto started 550 kW standby diesel generator. The redundant and dedicated HVAC units effectively moderate the cooling and humidity in the data center for the optimum performance of all the hardware components.
RECOL’s Branford data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity options to multiple Tier I carriers and service providers. The data center network infrastructure features redundant Cisco powered network with Gigabit networking. The onsite staff provides the helpdesk and support services.
