The data center offers multiple colocation space options including quarter, half, and full 42u cabinets, and multiple cabinet private cages. The data center meets the strict compliance standard requirement for SSAE 16 SOC 2 /SOC 3 and offers the HIPAA and PCI DSS compliant solutions for complex audit requirements. The multi layer security protect data center from unauthroized access including 1/2″ thick steel plating within walls using 600 tons of steel, 24x7x365 onsite security guards, video surveillance with motion detection, biometric scan and accompanied data center staff with visitors.
The Ashburn data center has a reliable and redundant N+1 power infrastructure that is modular design. The data center is designed with power capacity of 40MW onsite. The UPS system in N+1 redundancy provides the uninterrupted services on the loss of utility power. The backup power is provided by diesel generators in N+1 redundancy on the loss of utility power with onsite fuel storage to ensure 48 hours of continuous operation without any need to refuel. The power to each cabinet is provided in A+B configuration and can support power density of 250 watts per square feet. The concurrently maintainable cooling infrastructure with 350 tons Motivair free air cooling chillers and 30 tons CRAH units in N+1 redundancy maintains appropriate cooling and humidity levels in the data center. The data center provides at cabinet cooling to support power densities of 20 kW per cabinet.
21635 Red Rum Drive data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple carriers and service providers. The data center has a redundant and scalable network infrastructure with no monthly cross connect fees. The data center has a DDoS protected network and direct point to point transport to Phoenix and Amsterdam facilities. The data center provides their clients with full-time, onsite 24x7x365 NOC support from trained technicians with solutions for daily tape swaps, racking hardware, adding memory or changing hard drives and remote hands services.
