Raleigh data center 1 is a reliable and fault tolerant 2N power infrastructure with redundant isolated path power architecture. The data center is on East Coast power grid that is separate from the other two major power grids in the US. 100% of power for OnRamp’s Austin data center comes from renewable energy such as wind power. The data center has multiple redundant utility transformers, automatic transfer switches (ATS), main switch panels, and power distribution units (PDUs). The critical infrastructure is protected by 2N UPS system on the loss of utility power with automatic transfer of load to diesel generators in 2N redundant configuration with priority refueling contracts. The data center provides higher power densities of 30 kW per rack, and delivers power in A+B configurations. The HVAC units in N+1 configuration control the cooling and humidity levels in the data center. The data center utilizes hot aisle/cold aisle configuration with cold aisle containment and delivers cold air and remediates hot air in large plenums.
OnRamp’s 8020 Arco Corporate Dr. data center is a carrier neutral facility with multiple carriers, and offers 100% network uptime SLA. The data center has diverse entry points with connectivity up to OC-192, and provides 100/1000/10000 Mbps Ethernet drops with full burstability. The data center employs best in class networking equipment from Cisco with high quality software. 24x7x365 NOC engineers provide the helpdesk and support services, and remote hands services.
