NYI’s (New York Internet) New Jersey data center (NJ1) is located at 999 Frontier Road, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. The data center is located less than 40 miles from the lower Manhattan, and has proximity to NYC, along New Jersey’s fiber rich 287 tech corridor. The data center provides clients lounge for onsite technicians and 5,000 lbs. freight elevator with loading dock.
The data center provides colocation space through partial cabinet, half and full cabinets, and customized cage space. The facility provides 40,000 square feet of total enclosed space in standalone building that includes 24 inches raised floor space with fire and flood sensors throughout. The data center meets the rigorous compliance requirements for PCI DSS and HIPAA, and is a SSAE SOC I type II certified facility. The data center provides multiple layers of hardened physical security including 24x7x365 onsite security, CCTV surveillance with digital storage, electronically control access card, and biometric readers. The data center uses zoned pre action dry pipe fire suppression system with VESDA control for extinguishing any fire spark, while uses FM 200 fire suppression system in all UPS rooms.
New Jersey data center (NJ1) provides a reliable power infrastructure with over 5 MW of available power. The immediate power failure is protected by UPS system in N+1 redundancy with 15 minutes of backup time at full load. The emergency power is provided by 2N standby diesel generator with 11,000 fuel storage tank onsite capable of operating for 72 hours without need to refuel. The Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) switches generator power within 30 seconds of commercial power loss. The facility provides power density of 150 watts per square feet, and delivers 120V, 208V, and 208V 3 phase to each rack. The HVAC units in N+1 redundancy effectively control the cooling and humidity in the data center in hot aisle/cold aisle design.
NYI’s 999 Frontier Road data center is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity to multiple carriers and service providers. The data center has enterprise class infrastructure with fully meshed, BGP4 based fully tolerant network with no single point of failure, and offers 99.9999% uptime. 24x7x365 onsite staff provides the helpdesk and support services.
