NFINIT San Diego Lightwave (LWDC) data center is located at 9305 Lightwave Ave, San Diego, CA 92123. The potential for any type of natural disaster other than an earthquake is extremely unlikely. All the scientific data indicates that data center is at a very low risk of an earthquake that would disrupt data center operation. The data center provides amenities like shipping and receiving area with loading docks, client staging area with secure storage, client work area equipped with desk and wired Internet, facility wide free wireless Internet access, ample onsite parking, client lounge, and conference room with projector and video conferencing. This purpose built data center offers wholesale colocation space and cloud services.
The data center offers colocation cabinets in 13u, 17u, 26u, and 54u sizes; shared colocation cabinet space in one rack unit increment; private data center suites ranging from 100 square feet to 5,000 square feet, and built to spec custom cages. The data center provides 80,000 square feet of space that also include raised flooring. The NFINIT service architecture is based on ITIL v3 and the facilities are audited periodically in accordance with SSAE 16 SOC 1, 2, and 3 type 2 requirements. Periodic SSAE 16 SOC audits validate that NFINIT has the appropriate procedures and controls in place to safeguard client data, equipment, and connectivity. The data center has enforced state of the art security arrangements that includes security personnel 24 x 7 x 365 onsite, video cameras with remote door release, CCTV digital surveillance system with 90 to 180 days storage, biometric scanners, digital card access at all data center doors, and mantrap entry. All the client equipment is tagged upon arrival and entered in client account for monitoring. The data center has got double interlock, pre action dry pipe fire suppression system support with zone specific discharge throughout the facility.
LWDC data center is a N+1/2N redundant power infrastructure facility. The data center has been served with 9.1 MW of utility power from SDG&E. The data center has A/B, 208V or 120V power distribution options available, and provides 12 kW of power density. The immediate power failure is protected by APC UPS system in N+1 and 2N power configuration. The standby power is provided by emergency diesel generators in N+3 redundancy with minimum 24 hours runtime fuel capacity onsite. The data center has multiple fuel providers with 4 hours response or better. The data center utilize full data grade HVAC systems with N+1 redundancy, and data center space is designed with advanced cold row containment to be both energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
The data center is a carrier neutral facility, and provides connectivity to multiple Tier 1 carriers and is able to maintain continuous connectivity even when carriers fail. The data center offers multiple fiber vaults with diverse fiber entry, and also provides IPv6 data center support. The data center offers cross connect to the LWDC meet me room and inter cabinet via any media type. 24 x 7 x 365 emergency response to critical events is provided by client service engineers to provide fast solutions to any problem. The NOC staff also provides remote hands and eye support, and managed tape rotation and storage services.
