NAP of the Americas Terremark’s Santa Clara (West) data center is located at 3000 Corvin Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95051. The data center is centrally located in Silicon Valley, and is a zone 4 earthquake certified building.
The colocation services are provided through open racks, cabinets, and customized caged floor spaces. The data center currently provides 95,000 square feet of space, and expanding its footprint to include a new, 30,000 square foot data center pod. The data center is a SAS 70 Type II certified facility. The data center has a centrally located command center manned by security personnel 24x7x365. Security personnel monitor all security cameras, guard building entrance and exit access points, and control keycard access to elevators, floors, and roof areas. In addition, environmental sensors notify tenants and mobilize rescue in case of emergency. The data center is located near fire station across the street for a highly unlikely event of fire.
The data center provides reliable and fault tolerant N+1 power infrastructure. The data center is located on critical grid for power, and is fed from Silicon Valley power, not on PG & E grid. The entire critical infrastructure is protected by UPS system in N+1 redundancy on the loss of utility power. The standby diesel generator in N+1 redundancy provides the backup power to the data center for all critical/non-critical load with new 120,000 gallons fuel farm is under construction. The cooling and humidity in the data center is effectively moderated by N+1 redundant configuration for the optimum performance of all hardware and components.
Santa Clara 3000 Corvin Drive data center is a carrier neutral facility, and provides numerous advantages through its infrastructure and connectivity to major carriers. The data center has 12 carriers and service providers on site. 24x7x365 NOC provides technical support and helpdesk services, and also provides colocation related services including remote hands/smart hands, installation services, staging and engineering services.
