Miami Data Vault – Miami Data Center

Miami Data Vault’s Miami data center is located at 100 NE 80th Terrace, Miami, FL 33138. The data center is a rock solid bunker style facility that is constructed of solid, steel reinforced concrete. The data center is outside 500 years floodplain and is a category 5 hurricane rated facility. The data center provides secure staging area, parking area, and disaster recovery spaces.

The data center offers flexible colocation options including cabinets, customized cage space, and private suites. The data center provides over 100,000 square feet of space that features 13 feet ceiling and floor load capacity of over 200 lbs. per square feet. The data center is annually audited and is a certified SSAE 16 Type II facility. The data center has implemented excellent security measures, including 24x7x365 security guards onsite having full view of entrances, perimeter areas, rooftop, common areas, and suites; 24x7x365 video surveillance and recording of interior and exterior with archiving of footage; authorized access that is verified, timestamped, and stored for three months; and security guard authorization or valid access control card is required to open the secure parking area. The access to data center and colocation area is restricted through the use of card readers and biometric fingerprint readers. The data center uses pre action dry pipe fire suppression system for extinguishing any fire spark, and is equipped with VESDA for an early smoke alert.

The Miami data center provides a reliable power system with Florida Power & Light (FPL) fed primary power via diverse, underground feeds supported by multiple independent power substations. The entire critical infrastructure is protected by UPS system on the loss of utility power. The emergency power to data enter is fed through multiple diesel generators with fuel storage onsite. All generators are inspected and maintained by factory trained personnel, and tested on weekly basis. The redundant PDUs provides diverse power, and is fed in a true A+B feed to each cabinet. The cooling and humidity in the data center is controlled through multiple HVAC units.

Miami Data Vault’s 100 NE 80th Terrace is a carrier neutral facility with connectivity options to multiple carriers and service providers. The data center features redundant network infrastructure, and offers master cross connect facility. 24x7x365 NOC staff provides the support services and smart hands services.
